WELCOME

 

 

Our theatre program is one of our largest and most respected after school activities. Our students learn valuable life skills and many earn college scholarships. Alumni of the theatre program here have become professional actors and technicians all over the country and have appeared on Broadway and in feature films.  In the past four years, graduates of McCluer have earned over half a million dollars in theatre scholarships to various colleges.

 

McCluer High School sponsors Thespian Troupe 787, a dramatic honor society. One of our students, Troy Jones, was recently elected STATE president. Troupe 787 has been an honor troupe for the past 4 years and sponsors the school blood drives.

Drama Club meets the first Thursday of the month in the Little Theatre during advisory. Currently, the club has over 70 members.
